Saturday on the Outer Banks:
Celebrate the 30th Annual Wright Kite Festival at Wright Brothers National Memorial, Kill Devil Hills, from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. A festival for all ages with a spectacular kite show put on by Larger than Life Kites. Come see a 100 ft. octopus, 50 ft. scuba diver and many other kites which dance in the air. Stunt kites demos, games, kids kite making, and contests. The Lost Colony presents the ground breaking theatrical masterpiece Jesus Christ Superstar by Tim Rice and Andrew Lloyd Webber. This rock musical, a dramatized version of the last seven days in the life of Jesus of Nazareth, is timeless and for the times. Advance tickets: $15 for Preferred Seating, $10 for House Seats. Sunday brings Backyard Party from 2 to 5 pm and Sushi Open Mic Night at Outer Banks Brewing Station; Larry Czernik will be hosting the ‘Alan Ross Karaoke Roadshow’ from 9 pm to 1 am at Jolly Roger.
Monday on the Outer Banks:
