Looking for the events and activities coming up on the Outer Banks? Every Friday, Miss Kitty is going to bring you the happening events for the next week.

Saturday on the Outer Banks:

Enjoy a night of theater with The Lost Colony at Waterside Theater on Roanoke Island. The performance begins at 8 pm. After the show, enjoy a backstage tour of Waterside Theater. For tickets or more information, call 252-473-2127 or visit The Lost Colony.

You could head on over to Jolly Rogerwhere Michelle Sanchez will be hosting the ‘Alan Ross Karaoke Roadshow’ from 9 pm to 1 am. Three Legged Fox will be rocking the house over at Outer Banks Brewing Station(yeah, that’s the restaurant beneath the wind turbine on the big road). Or go see Gonzos Nose playing at Kelly’s Restaurant and Tavern.

Sunday on the Outer Banks:

Howard Levy, a Harmonica Player, will be performing in the Art Gallery at Roanoke Island Festival Park. Universally acknowledged as the world’s most advanced harmonica player, Howard is equally at home in jazz, pop, rock, world music, Latin, classical, folk, blues and country. Showtime is 4 pm. Sunday brings Sushi  and Open Mic Night with The Walker Brothers at Outer Banks Brewing Station; Larry Czernik will be hosting the ‘Alan Ross Karaoke Roadshow’ from 9 pm to 1 am at Jolly Roger. Cowboy Mouth will be jamming at Kelly’s Restaurant and Tavern.

Monday on the Outer Banks:

Enjoy a night of theater with The Lost Colony at Waterside Theater on Roanoke Island. The performance begins at 8 pm. After the show, enjoy a backstage tour of Waterside Theater. For tickets or more information, call 252-473-2127 or visit The Lost Colony.

Ernest Johnson will be hosting the ‘Alan Ross Karaoke Roadshow’ from 9 pm to 1 am at Jolly Roger. Hang out with DJ Bruce’s Industry Retro Night at Outer Banks Brewing Station.

Tuesday on the Outer Banks:

Come paint a horse from 11:00 am to 2:00 pm at the Corolla Wild Horse Museum. Museum admission is free. For information on pricing and directions, call 252-453-8002 or visit http://www.corollawildhorses.org.

Stop by Duck Town Park and enjoy an evening of music with local musicians during the Duck Summer Music Series. Concerts run from 6 to 7:30 pm on Tuesday and Thursdays and feature a variety of music, from rock to bluegrass, jazz to pop.

Spend an evening at Outer Banks Music Showcase and enjoy their regular season show, “Only in America”. Show time is at 7:30 pm. Relax to some great music and spend some fun, family time with your whole group. Enjoy a night of Magic & Mayhem with Magic Jack over at Kelly’s Restaurant and Tavern, MP 10.5 on the big road (also called the bypass). Ernest Johnson will be hosting the ‘Alan Ross Karaoke Roadshow’ from 9 pm to 1 am at Jolly Roger. Over at Outer Banks Brewing Station, Volcom presents Martin Fucci Benefit. Performers include Freedom Hawk, Blood Fueled Machines & The Needles with Special Guest Belly Dancer Brandice. The night will be loaded with raffles and giveaways. Wednesday on the Outer Banks:

Enjoy an afternoon of wine tastings, a tour of The Whalehead Club, music and food at the Whalehead Club Wine Festival from 3 to 7 pm. Tickets are $20 and include a souvenir glass.

Larry Czernik will be hosting the ‘Alan Ross Karaoke Roadshow’ from 9 pm to 1 am at Jolly Roger. Vinyl Headlights will be jamming the night away at Kelly’s Restaurant and Tavern. Ladies, head over to Outer Banks Brewing Station for Ladies Night hosted by DJ Piper of Beach 104 and kick off your dancing to get down with some great top 40 and dance hits.

Thursday on the Outer Banks:

In Corolla, head over to the Currituck Heritage Park and check out the Summer Concert Series on the Lawn. Local musicians perform on The Whalehead Club’s porch. Seating is on the lawn, so bring along your chairs or a blanket. Concessions are available. Concerts begin at 6:30 pm and run until sunset.

Spend your early evening hours enjoying the Sundowner Party in the Backyard at Outer Banks Brewing Station. The party gets started at 5 pm, then hang around for Thursday Tryouts with Workingman at 10 pm. Friday on the Outer Banks:

Duck Author Discussion Series is held every Friday at 10 am at Duck Town Park. Come to the Town Picnic Shelter to meet regional and local authors who will focus on Outer Banks topics.

Witness mind-blowing illusions, unforgettable magic and audience participation the entire family will love. Show begins at 7:30 pm. Special treat over at Outer Banks Brewing Station where Matt McGuire will be doing a special live recording show. Cover is $5 and show begins at 10 pm.
